*Maguri's head shot up from looking over the food eagerly (he was a teenage boy and hadn't eaten that day after all) with a guilty look. He pulled his hand from his pocket immediately*

*Hibari just stared for a moment.... then shrugged to himself and got to eating.*

*Maguri breathed a silent breath of relief and picked up the chopsticks gratefully and dug in*

You really really are good at this. It's too bad you aren't one of the chefs at the apartments, Kyouyan.

Can you remember where you learned?

It's really just been practice. A desire to improve..

*Shrugged lightly and sipped his tea.*

That's it?

*Chewed thoughtfully for a moment then nodded to himself* I guess I'm not surprised, you seem pretty driven to be good at whatever you do.

Kyouyan's kind of an amazing hard worker like that, huh?

*Hibari picked at his food, a little embarrassed suddenly.*

...I suppose. I don't like to be bad at anything.

Hehen. *Maguri just smiled at him and went back to eating, enjoying it thoroughly before he finished his drink and realized that Hibari may have too* Oh hey, do you need more tea?

I do. *He almost continued on to say that he could get it himsel, but.. well. Might be nice to not have to fetch his own tea, so he waited to see what Maguri would do.*

Ah, I'll get it! *And with that Maguri hopped out of his seat to retrieve the teapot without a moment's pause, trotting back with it to the table. He stopped a second and looked to Hibari's empty cup and shrugged and poured him a new cup before sitting down, leaving the pot there for them both (in the meanwhile forgetting that he'd wanted some as well)*

Oh, Chestnut... *He smiled and leaned over to kiss his cheek.*

You're so sweet. You forgot to get some for yourself, though.

*Blink. Blink blink*

O-Oh yeah... *He smiled a little sheepishly, before he poured himself some more too. He sipped at it for a long few moments, hiding behind his cup. Reaaaal smooth, Maguri*

*He wasn't in much of a mood to eat so before long he set his chopsticks down and sat back, content to sip at his tea.*

...I'm really glad you like what I made. I'll cook anything for you. Just let me know.

*Maguri finished pretty quickly there-after, having been fairly hungry and wanting to show Hibari he really did enjoy it*

Heh, I'll have to come over sometimes just to let you do that then, because I don't think I can turn down an offer like that.

So... *He glanced around a little and felt a little at a loss about what to do or say next. It had been more than a little bit of a roller-coaster not only today but for the past several weeks.* What now?

I clean.

*Smiled slightly and got up, taking their dishes into the kitchen where he'd box up his leftovers and put them away, immediately moving on to washing their dishes.*

...you can make yourself comfortable over on the couch if you'd like.

*Maguri had no real desire to wash dishes so nodded and wandered over to the couch out in the living area and flopped onto it. Before long he found himself yawning and nestled his head into the back of the couch and closed his eyes for a moment*

*A short while later Hibari came over to the couch and slid onto it beside him, snugging up close, resting his head on Maguri's shoulder.*

All done.

*Maguri's eyes fluttered open as he felt the weight settle in next to him and he smiled a little* Okay, so now what? I'm a little fried on thinking anymore...

I'm feeling somewhat lethargic after eating. *Closed his eyes, making himself comfortable next to Maguri.*

Doesn't matter what we do as long as I'm with you.

*dsdfasp Hibari had to stop saying things like that to him! Maguri nodded his head a bit and nestled in, getting comfortable as well*

Well, we could just sit for a bit and digest...

*His voice sounded a bit far off and sleepy and his eyes fell shut slowly again, though it really was just going to be for a second....*

We could go lie down for a while and just talk if you like... *Took Maguri's hand and squeezed it gently, content to just be close for now.*

Sounds nice. Don't have to, though.

*Maguri was already fast asleep, leaning against Hibari's head on his shoulder*

*Chuckled quietly and shifted around, an arm going around Maguri's back, other under his knees before lifting him up, starting to carry him toward the bedroom.*

Silly Chestnut..

*The blonde just curled into Hibari's arms and continued to doze away, though because he'd been playing with it, the fake wedding ring slid out of his pocket and fell to the floor with a quiet tinkling as Hibari carried him to the bedroom*

*Hibari paused and frowned.. but he continued on into the bedroom. Carefully pulled the covers back and laid Maguri down, tucking him in. THEN, he'd go to fetch the wedding ring and look it over. So he kept it with him...

Quietly making his way over to the bed, he slid into it and cuddled up against Maguri, reaching to take his hand and gently put the ring on Maguri's finger.*

*Maguri had been rather exhausted and so slept comfortably in the nice warm bed with an arm thrown loosely around Hibari at some point shortly after the other had joined him in the bed. He stayed that way probably for a couple hours if uninterrupted, contentedly cuddling the other boy*
